Mixed batch of MDH® henna a couple of days beforehand and refrigerated until application. Warmed to room temperature prior to application. Of the henna I have at the moment, this is the freshest (it has a green color, while the Zaquia Foods® henna I have is older and brown colored). Mixture was basically just henna, RealLemon® lemon juice, and a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil. Henna was sifted through nylon pantyhose, and after mix was made, the paste was filtered through another layer of pantyhose.

Application was with a homemade plastic cone with a .5mm metal tip. I still need to sift/filter henna better with this size tip, as it frequently clogged.

This was first design where I started by attempting to copy a pattern (one of Catherine Cartwright Jones' free ones).

Paste was left on overnight, and then steamed off.
