Henna mixed (recipe #3) approx 24 hours before application (same batch as 01/30 Stephanie).

• MDH® henna
• RealLemon® lemon juice
• eucalyptus oil
• Lipton® tea

01/31/2001, 2ish am, began application with squeeze bottle. henna slightly too lumpy for good application; need to sift henna better. It was sifted through a fine tea strainer, but should sift through nylon (i.e. ladies' hosery). After completion, design was heated with a blow dryer, then lemon_juice/sugar solution applied. Heated again, and Liquid Skin® applied as a final sealant. Wrapped with surgical gauze and paper tape (worked *really* well) and covered with a plastic glove. first photo taken prior to wrapping.

01/31/2001, 4pm, henna removed. It was still tacky-wet from application, and a really rich dark stain was achieved.
