paste made approx 1 week(??) in advance, not refrigerated, but kept in relatively cool place. Paste was made with MDH® henna powder, mixed with RealLemon® lemon juice until like cookiedough, and hot strong tea added to bring to proper consistency.
applied with cone made from plastic freezer bag. application went surprisingly smoothly, given this was the "Artist's" first experience at doing mehndi.
Didn't have a brush to apply lemon juice and sugar water mixture, so tried to drip it on. Unfortunately, some of the design hadn't sufficiently dried, so it ran and smeared (see photo). Experience is good.
Painted with Liquid Skin®, wrapped in toilet paper and plastic kitchen wrap.
Subject left it on for a little over 12 hours.
Stephanie heartily suggests that when using Liquid Skin® to seal design, subjects shave the application area first if there's any hair there. (:
